Director of Manufacturing Finance & Acquisitions

Description:

We are recruiting for an exciting position for our international manufacturing client. The roles consists of approximately 40% manufacturing finance activities, 40% acquisition integration projects and 20% special projects. The successful candidate needs to be open to future relocation outside of CT for promotional opportunities.

Responsibilities:

1. Work with functional subject matter experts to lead the integration of financial reporting, accounting/internal controls, tax, treasury/banking and payroll
2. Work with the VP Business Integration, Integration Team and Business Unit to analyze and drive key strategic and operational decisions related to acquisitions
3. Execute planned actions, search for and analyze new potential opportunities
4. Work with Integration Team and Business Unit Finance to ensure actual and projected synergy savings are flowing through to the monthly P&L and are properly reflected in the annual budget
5. Work with manufacturing to provide financial support and analysis to the business units on manufacturing issues, such as productivity metrics, process improvements, outsourced production, inventory control and costing methodologies
6. Makes recommendations to leadership to initiate policies, practices and procedures to improve overall financial performance

Requirements:

1. BS in Accounting or Finance with a, MBA or CPA preferred
2. At least 7 years Finance management experience within a manufacturing environment
3. Must have strong FP&A, controllership and operational finance experience
4. Must have excellent problem analysis and problem resolution skills at both a strategic and functional level, and the ability to identify trends and establish proactive corrective actions
5. Must have excellent verbal and written communications skills and be able to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization

Salary:

$150,000 - $170,000 + 25% Target Bonus
