Senior Accountant

Description:

We are recruiting for multiple Senior Accountants for our fast growing SEC company. Responsibilities include producing timely and accurate accounting reporting for assigned portfolios. Responsibilities:

1. Perform the daily and monthly processing, reconciliation, and reporting functions for traditional and complex asset types
2. Review monthly general ledgers feeds for conformance with US GAAP
3. Prepare and reconcile month end packages
4. Identify inefficiencies in the current production process and make recommendations for improvement
5. Liaise with clients and internal contacts on a day to day basis
6. Address ad hoc inquiries and assist on special projects

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and 2-4 years of experience in public accounting or at an insurance or asset/investment management company
2. CPA a plus, but not required
3. Solid understanding of accounting rules under US GAAP
4. Strong communication skills, ability to multi-task effectively
5. Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, with advanced working knowledge of Excel

Salary:

$70,000 - $85,000 + Annual Cash Bonus Potential + Annual Stock Award Potential
