Senior Financial Planning & Analysis Reporting Analyst
Description:
Responsibilities include preparing monthly reports and analysis used in the operating review book, support the preparation of the annual plan and quarterly forecasts and the preparation of various P&L exhibits and variance analysis and written explanations. Special projects including the automation of certain reports and processes and ad-hoc analysis.
Responsibilities:
- o Prepare reports and analysis used in the operating review, close process and financial analysis including P&L’s, premium, claims, expenses and other exhibits. Support the preparation and distribution of the monthly operating review. Work with functional areas to incorporate their schedules into the reporting package.
- o Support the automation of reports and analysis used in the operating review, close process and financial analysis.
- o Maintain forecast and plan models, analysis, exhibits and balancing.
- o Support the development of client company / agent level plan used for management reporting.
- o Support the development of a new forecast model and reports including intercompany eliminations and expense reclassifications.
- o Special projects - prepare other adhoc analysis, exhibits and special projects.
- o Support the preparation of the annual budget as well as quarterly forecast exhibits and models.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance, Master's Degree a plus
- 5+ years of accounting/finance experience, ideally in the insurance industry
- Strong computer skills including Excel spreadsheets, macros and working with databases
- Solid written and oral communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Salary:
$80,000 - $100,000 + Bonus PotentialLocation:
