Senior Tax Accountant

Description:

Individual will support comprehensive business group’s income tax needs including tax provision, tax return preparation and tax planning. Also support tax related SEC and other regulatory reporting. obligations.

Responsibilities:

1. Assist with the tax provision calculation
2. Assist with federal and state tax return preparation
3. Perform tax planning and forecasting activities
4. Assist with special tax projects and analysis

Requirements:

1. A Bachelor's degree in Accounting. A Master’s Degree in Taxation and/or CPA designation is preferred
2. 5+ years related tax accounting experience preferably in a corporate and/or public accounting environment
3. Experience in the preparation of income tax accruals for an SEC company
4. Ability and willingness to work effectively with individuals at all organizational levels within the company as well as external organizations such as audit firms and professional consultants
5. Team leadership as well as team membership skills

Salary:

$85,000 - $95,000 Plus Bonus
