Senior Accounting Analyst

Description:

In this position you will have the opportunity to interact with many cross functional areas including Operations and Finance, Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) and others.

Responsibilities:

1. • Provide reporting and support analysis of contract performance
2. • Liaise with external program partners to provide accounting results to support their regulatory reporting
3. • Spearhead process and system improvements needed to support growing volume
4. • Support the creation of significant new processes for new business arrangements and product offerings
5. • Perform month end closing, reporting and analysis activities. Partner closely with Corporate Finance and Financial Planning and Analysis to ensure results are accurately reported and in-line with expectations
6. • This position will provide valuable knowledge and detailed understanding of the business process in critical areas such as the calculation of estimates at completion (EACs) and focus on their significant assumptions and drivers. The candidate will be able to provide significant value to other Finance positions after completion of this role

Requirements:

1. 1) 2+ years of related experience, Bachelor's degree required
2. 2) Candidate will have strong communication skills, both written and verbal, and must be able to work with all levels of employees and management

Salary:

$65,000 - $80,000
