The Controller is responsible for accounting procedures and staff, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, fixed assets, general accounting and payroll. This individual is accountable for the accuracy of the general ledger and timeliness of the month end close. The Controller ensures that internal controls are operating consistently and effectively to meet compliance requirements and address risks outlined by management.


  1. • Develop and maintain accounting procedures and controls to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
  2. • Oversee day-to-day accounting functions including accounts receivable, accounts payable, fixed assets, general accounting and payroll
  3. • Manage, coach and develop staff which includes direct and indirect reports
  4. • Review journal entries, reconciliations and general ledger activity
  5. • Maintain chart of accounts and business unit structure within ERP system
  6. • Analyze balance sheet and income statement activity
  7. • Communicate with field locations to provide support and enforce company procedures
  8. • Collaborate with other departments to support budget and forecast activities and company initiatives
  9. • Work with external auditors
  10. • Participate in special projects including software upgrades
  11. • Other duties as assigned


  1. • At least 8 years of progressive accounting experience including at least 5 years of supervisory experience
  2. • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
  3. • CPA required
  4. • Strong knowledge of US GAAP and internal controls
  5. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  6. • JD Edwards or other large ERP system experience
  7. • High proficiency in Microsoft Excel


$120,000 - $140,000 + 20% Bonus Potential
