Corporate Controller

Description:

Our client is a solid and growing company in the manufacturing industry with sales in the $100-150 million range. This position reports to the CFO. Great opportunity for a Manager in public accounting or a CPA with a public/private mix.

Responsibilities:

1. 1) Supervision of accounting staff of 10
2. 2) Review and sign off on multi-divisional financials
3. 3) Preparation and maintenance of annual budgets
4. 4) Monitor preparation of sales tax returns
5. 5) Bank reporting and documentation
6. 6) Manage annual audit and relationship with accounting firm
7. 7) Provide documentation for preparation of income tax returns
8. 8) Develop and maintain internal controls
9. 9) Maintain insurance and work with outside brokerage firm
10. 10) Assist with acquisitions (some travel)
11. 11) Interface with other senior management (Mfg, Customer Svc, Logistics..etc)

Requirements:

1. 1) Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
2. 2) 6+ years of accounting experience, including supervisory experience
3. 3) Experience with manufacturing industry, inventory, etc.
4. 4) Self starter, takes ownership of assigned areas, good coach and mentor to staff

Salary:

$110,000 - $150,000 + Bonus
