Finance Manager

Our client is embarking on a multi-year journey to transform its Finance function by standardizing its Finance processes and reporting within one dedicated ERP system. The program is a critical component of a broader program at the Company to consolidate 100+ ERP systems into a harmonized SAP landscape. The benefits to the business are significant, including driving economies of scale by standardizing payables and receivables processes, consistency and process efficiency gains with standardized master data, systematizing and standardizing reporting for US GAAP, Tax, & Statutory requirements, and increased controls and audit compliance through automated governance, risk and compliance capabilities. In short, the program is an enabler to transform the Finance organization to become a key business partner with an increased focus on value-add decision making.


Responsibilities:

  1. • Responsible for executing on functional and business goals for the group.
  2. • Addresses problems across functional areas of the business.
  3. • Influences individuals within and outside the IT department.
  4. • Responsible for meeting budgetary goals and objectives.
  5. • Prepares and presents reports to all levels of leadership and staff.
  6. • Position will have the responsibility of managing multiple projects within a broader program and ensuring execution and alignment. The key focus for the position will be ensuring financial management of the program, managing the deliverables of the solution integrators involved in the program, and providing overall support for the Delivery Leads of the program.
  7. • In particular, the role will drive all aspects of IT Project, Program, and Portfolio activity, including collaborating and coordinating across all IT and business segments. Defines project value proposition, scope, work plan, resource needs, timeline and budget for IT projects. Manages resources (i.e., capital requirements and human capital, etc.) to complete project/program on time and within budget. Keeps team and leadership updated on project status and risk factors. Ensures adherence to quality standards and reviews project deliverables. Provides technical and process guidance to project team.

Requirements:

  1. • Knowledge of planning and forecasting techniques for multiple functional areas within IT.
  2. • Advanced understanding and ability to develop and drive budgeting process.
  3. • Conducts solid stakeholder and risk analysis on key issues.
  4. • Weighs alternatives and considers service and business implications of decisions.
  5. • Monitors budgets and operational effectiveness; develops strategies for adjusted courses of action.
  6. • Develops and administers schedules, objectives, and goals.
  7. • Translates business plans into objectives for a department or work area.
  8. • Undergraduate degree and 10+ years relevant experience, or Graduate degree and 8-10 years relevant experience.
  9. • 3-6 years leadership experience.

Salary:

$120,000 - $140,000 + Bonus
