Senior Accountant – External Reporting

Description:

The Corporate Controller’s External GAAP Reporting team is responsible for the coordination, preparation and communication (through periodic SEC filings) of financial and other information used primarily by regulators, investors, and securities analysts. The Senior Accountant position provides a macro overview of the company's operations and corporate business functions and the opportunity to interact with line of business and corporate teams throughout the enterprise.

Responsibilities:

1. • Collaborate with line of business and corporate teams in the preparation of assigned sections of Form 10-K (annual) and Form 10-Q (quarterly) SEC filings for two registrants
2. • Prepare assigned sections of the Investor Financial Supplement (quarterly)
3. • Maintain electronic support in accordance with External GAAP Reporting team standards for assigned disclosures and reports; assist internal and external auditors as required
4. • XBRL (eXtensible Business Reporting Language) compliance for assigned financial statement disclosures
5. • Prepare quarterly management presentations including the Controller’s report to the audit committee
6. • Support the Investor Relations team with comprehensive review of quarterly earnings call documents and other periodic investor presentations

Requirements:

1. • Bachelors and/or Masters degree in Accounting
2. • Minimum 3-5 years experience, preferably in a Big 4 firm
3. • CPA or CPA candidate preferred
4. • Well-developed communication, organizational and analytical skills
5. • Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and to demonstrate professionalism while interacting with personnel through-out the enterprise

Salary:

$75,000 - $85,000 + Bonus
