Senior Financial Analyst

Description:

Our client is looking for an experienced, energetic, and knowledgeable individual to join their team in this highly visible position of Senior Financial Analyst. Primary responsibilities of the Senior Financial Analyst are to perform a key role in providing critical financial planning, reporting and analytical support to the ongoing and long-range strategic and financial planning processes. He/she will possess an analytical mindset with the ability to think strategically, and focus on quality/process improvement and interact heavily with members of our management and executive team.


Responsibilities:

  1. • Monitor, analyze, and report on financial performances with focus on operations
  2. • Maintains, enhances, and updates the Company’s weekly fiscal year financial forecast
  3. • Develops, maintains and refines the Company’s dynamic long-range financial models based on the Company’s current and future strategic opportunities in collaboration with business partners across the organization
  4. • Assist in the development of the annual budgeting process
  5. • Develop an understanding of the Company’s global business model, in order to identify financial trends and provide value-add analysis
  6. • Work on various forecasting models; such as cash, capital and business
  7. • Performs ad hoc analysis as needed to understand business performance and develops reporting tools to effectively and efficiently communicate results
  8. • Develops materials for Board of Directors meetings and provides analytical support to management in preparation for Board meetings, monthly business reviews and other key activities
  9. • Work cross functionally with various departments with high degree of involvement with executives and members of our management teams
  10. • Provide financial models and dashboards with analysis on ROIs, expenses, capital, and headcount trends; including variances of actual-to-budget and year-over-year
  11. • Identify potential improvements to processes and procedures, as well as making them more effective and efficient

Requirements:

  1. • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field
  2. • 3+ years of related, progressive experience in financial planning, preferably a proficiency in financial modeling with a high degree of exposure to income statement, balance sheet and cash flow statements
  3. • Develop thoughtful and easy-to-follow presentations to effectively communicate ideas to key stakeholders
  4. • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  5. • Ability to build partnerships, influence decisions and work in a collaborative style with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  6. • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
  7. • MBA and/or CPA a plus

Salary:

$85,000 - $100,000 + Bonus
