Experienced Staff Internal Auditor – Insurance – 10% TRAVEL – NO OVERTIME!

Description:

This is a great opportunity for someone in public accounting looking to make the transition to private industry. The Experienced Staff Internal Auditor position offers exposure to auditing virtually all aspects the company. After 1+ year, it's up to you if you would like to remain in internal audit or rotate into an accounting/finance role within the company. NO OVERTIME OR TRAVEL!

Responsibilities:

1. Examines business risks relative to financial processes and examines and evaluates controls in place to mitigate key risks
2. Identifies opportunities for process improvements and delivers value-added recommendations supported by work documented in automated work papers
3. Actively builds knowledge of the company's business operations, financial products and risk management, successfully applies knowledge to consecutive projects and effectively shares knowledge with others

Requirements:

1. 1.5 - 3 years of experience in public accounting or internal audit
2. All CPA exams passed is required
3. Expresses views/opinions clearly both orally and in writing
4. Has excellent critical thinking and problem solving skills

Salary:

$65,000-$75,000 + Bonus
