Senior Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis
Description:
The FP&A Leader, is responsible for planning, analysis, and reporting for the Company. This position reports directly to the VP FP&A and works primarily with the CFO certain business units. The role includes the following responsibilities:
• Coordinate pulsing rhythms aligned with the operating calendar… annual budget, closing cycle, quarterly forecasts, annual strategic plan, weekly sales call, monthly S&OP
• Drive transparency of financial results and outlook throughout the matrix organization, including understanding and communicating reasons for variance to plan/budget
• Identify and develop tools to manage the business, provide visibility into key metrics, and drive operating performance
• Strong focus on understanding and communicating key variances, identifying and implementing tools and models to streamline processes, increase visibility and drive effective decision making
Responsibilities:
- o Work with business teams to drive process improvements and improve financial results and forecast / actual consolidation efficiency
- o Enhance relationship and add value to product management organization through product line reporting, E&O support, SKU rationalization, and Product Portfolio support
- o Margin excellence improvements focused around implementing central learnings / develop specific plans where required across our Business Unit’s/Product Line’s
- o Analyze monthly results and report to senior management; Provide variance analysis versus internal expectations and versus external guidance
- o Coordinate pulsing rhythms for gross margin, pricing, SG&A, and AR; Analyze performance trends to help build forecasts and provide guidance to Business Units
- o Work with FP&A and Operations teams within the division to report monthly and quarterly results; Complete quarter review package which summarizes previous quarter results and next quarter outlook
- o Annual and quarterly forecasts, month end reporting, and presentations
Requirements:
- 1) Bachelor's Degree required, preferably in Accounting or Finance; Working knowledge of ERP, Financial reporting systems, and Oracle Hyperion experience preferred
- 2) Strong Microsoft Office skills particularly Excel and PowerPoint; Strong communication, both verbal and written
- 3) Ability to communicate headwinds / tailwinds and business results in a concise yet thorough manner; Able to build cross-functional relationships and interact with all levels in the organization; Strong analytical skills
- 4) Consistently demonstrates highest level of personal ethical conduct; Demonstrates problem solving skills through implementation and sustaining business processes
Salary:
$120,000 - $150,000 + 10-20% BonusLocation:
