Senior Tax Analyst

Description:

We have an exciting opportunity for a Sr. Tax Analyst to join our well respected client with international operations. In this role, you will performs tax preparation and review at the Federal, State, and International levels, as well as related tax research, in a flexible team environment.


Responsibilities:

  1. • Prepare and review federal and state income tax returns and extensions
  2. • Review tax packages received from subsidiaries (federal, state, and international), and manage the process directly with local Controllers
  3. • Prepare international related calculations and returns including Foreign Tax Credit, Subpart F, Gilti and E&P
  4. • Manage and review deferred tax assets/liabilities and assist with monthly tax provision
  5. • Review Quarterly federal & state estimate calculations and coordinate payment with Treasury
  6. • Compile and review annual tax return backup (i.e. R&D credit, Foreign tax credit, state nexus and throwback)
  7. • Research tax issues and prepare supporting analysis and assist with special projects as required, such as federal and state income tax audits
  8. • Perform other similar and related duties as required with minimal supervision

Requirements:

  1. 1) Bachelors' degree in Taxation or Accounting is required
  2. 2) A minimum 3-5 years' experience in corporate tax
  3. 3) Manufacturing and international experience strongly preferred
  4. 4) Knowledge of generally accepted accounting rules, practices, tax laws, and reporting requirements
  5. 5) Knowledge of FAS 109 and Thomson Reuter’s OneSource Products would be beneficial
  6. 6) Independent judgment is required to plan, prioritize, organize and accomplish a diversified work load. Able to evaluate -situations, identify options and implement effective solutions quickly and efficiently
  7. 7) Must be highly collaborative and able to work in a team based environment. Must be able to handle all types of personalities and relate to people at all levels of the organization. Represents respective executive staff in a highly professional manner
  8. 8) Must have excellent verbal and written communications skills and be able to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization. Able to provide clear and concise information and create effective reports, presentations and business correspondence

Salary:

$85,000 - $95,000 + Bonus
