Tax Manager – SEC Co.

Description:

Our SEC client is seeking a Tax Manager to manage aspects of international income tax compliance and reporting. This position will be responsible for reviewing and managing non-US income tax compliance, supporting quarterly and annual income tax accounting and reporting, and supporting the transfer pricing function. The International Tax Reporting & Compliance Manager will also interface with core finance functions including corporate accounting, legal, treasury, and will also liaise with leaders across a number of non-US locations.

Responsibilities:

1. 1) Coordinate with outside tax compliance engagement teams to ensure accurate and timely completion of non-US income tax returns
2. 2) Review non-US income tax returns, while understanding and communicating tax compliance risks and opportunities
3. 3) Review return-to-provision calculations and communicate the impact of return filings to the Company's tax provision
4. 4) Assist tax team members with preparation of the global income tax provision and AETR calculations on a quarterly basis
5. 5) Monitor tax law changes and assess potential impacts to the effective tax rate of affected entities
6. 6) Work collaboratively with other members of the tax team to complete mandatory financial statement reporting requirements

Requirements:

1. 1) Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting. Chartered Accountant, Certified Public Accountant, and/or post-graduate study in Taxation preferred.
2. 2) Minimum of 5 years’ experience with a Big 4, regional accounting firm or corporate tax department.
3. 3) Experience across tax disciplines including income tax accounting (ASC 740), non-US income tax compliance, and transfer pricing.
4. 4) Experience with OneSource Tax Provision software preferred.

Salary:

$100,000 - $130,000 + Bonus
