Senior Financial Analyst

The Senior Financial Analyst will support the Director of Financial Operations with a focus on logistics, sourcing and operations analysis. They will also perform monthly financial close process, develop business partner relationships with functional area leaders and be involved in the creation and tracking of budgets and forecasts.


Responsibilities:

  1. • Assist in the financial management and reporting for Logistics, Sourcing and Operations functions
  2. • Act as financial liaison to support the Legrand finance and operational groups
  3. • Track and analyze purchasing performance for all North American entities with key metrics such as price, volume and commodity inflation
  4. • Month end financial close including but not limited to: journal entries, consolidation reports, monthly account reconciliations
  5. • Perform monthly financial variance analysis
  6. • Develop financial models using excel and the CompanyBPC financial reporting system to report and communicate trends on financial performance
  7. • Participate in the budget and forecast process and provide finance support to functional cost center leaders; oversee and manage the creation and completion of annual budgets
  8. • Perform ad-hoc project analysis to support senior management

Requirements:

  1. • Bachelor Degree in Finance or related subject matter combined with experience, MBA Preferred
  2. • 3 - 5 years of relevant Operations or Operations Finance experience
  3. • Must possess strong analytical skills and the ability to identify trends and establish proactive corrective actions
  4. • Requires strong organizational and time management skills, close attention to detail and be able to effectively handle multiple priorities. Requires close attention to detail, ability to audit work to identify issues and implement processes to prevent errors
  5. • Strong Excel/computer skills
  6. • Able to communicate effectively both in written format and oral presentation. Able to create effective reports, presentations and business correspondence. Must be an effective listener, able to maintain focus extract necessary information and validate understanding of the information

Salary:

$75,000 - $90,000 + 10-15% Bonus
