Accounting Manager

Description:

Our client is a fast growing company in the manufacturing industry. This position reports to the Corporate Controller. 8+ years of experience and CPA required.

Responsibilities:

1. • Key point person in month-end closing activities and establishing consistency with financial reporting
2. • Assist in the preparation of internal and external reporting packages, taking advantage of opportunities to enhance usefulness and efficiency
3. • Assist Global Controller with internal and external audits
4. • Interface with Corporate Controllership, legal, treasury, and tax department as well as with external auditors as necessary
5. • Assist Global Controller to ensure SOX Controls compliance including driving changes across the organization
6. • Assist with integration of new acquisitions including training and travel to sites as considered necessary

Requirements:

1. • Minimum of 8-10 years of related experience ideally in a global public company with a manufacturing environment or at a Big 4/large national public accounting firm, CPA required
2. • Strong team-building skills and the proven ability to work with a diverse group of people
3. • Solid management skills as this position will have two direct reports
4. • Be technically proficient with US GAAP and Purchase accounting
5. • Strong organizational and communications skills
6. • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally approximately 10-15%

Salary:

$125,000 - $155,000 + 15% Target Bonus
