Accounting Specialist

Description:

Responsibilities:

1. Active participation in the monthly and quarterly closing process
2. Prepare various quarterly financial statement analyses of consolidated financial statements required by the Company's Controller’s department in support of the quarterly 10-Q/K filing
3. Prepare various account analysis in support of internal and external requirements
4. Prepare consolidated monthly, quarterly and annual filings to various government agencies
5. Assist in the collection of annual data required for the Company's annual 10-K filing
6. Participate in the department’s process improvement initiatives and continually look for opportunities to implement such improvements

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
2. 2-6 years of experience in public accounting, private industry or a combination of both
3. Experience in Internal Audit or Public accounting is preferred
4. Strong analytical and accounting skills
5. Ability to foster change and promote and implement improvements
6. Team player - Good communication skills

Salary:

$70,000 - $95,000
