Controller – Manufacturing Company

Description:

Our client is a privately held manufacturing company with revenues in the $40-50 million range. They are seeking a hands on Controller with middle market manufacturing company experience to join their management team. The position reports to the President.

Responsibilities:

1. Direct all financial activities including: cash management and banking activities; financial reporting & analysis, budgeting and forecasting; accounting receivable, credit & collections; cost accounting; accounts payable; and fixed assets.
2. Ensure compliance with GAAP auditing standards and timeliness of regulatory reporting and tax filings.
3. Analyze financial data and present financial reports in a timely and accurate manner.
4. Clearly communicate monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements.
5. Monitor financial progress of the Company and keep senior leadership abreast of Company's financial status.
6. Oversee Company 401(k) Plan.
7. Perform special projects as requested.
8. Supervise, train and develop staff.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
2. Minimum of 8 years total experience, including at least 5 years in a manufacturing environment
3. Solid verbal and written communication skills
4. Able to present clear and concise financial information to senior management
5. Sound understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)

Salary:

$90,000 - $110,000 + Profit-Sharing Bonus
