Entry Level Fund Accountant

Description:

Our fast growing client company is seeking to hire Entry level Accountants. This is a great opportunity to join a company that provides long term career growth opportunities. Must have a completed Bachelor's Degree and majored in Accounting.

Responsibilities:

1. Reconcile the funds cash to outside sources
2. Research internal differences between the accounting and trade entry systems
3. Analyze fund performance on a daily and monthly basis
4. Issue P&L reports on a daily basis
5. Perform month-end close processes/financial statement preparation
6. Work with various products including equities, bonds, swaps, options, FX, mortgages, financing and futures

Requirements:

1. Bachelors degree in Accounting, 0-1 year of experience
2. Strong MS Excel knowledge
3. Strong written and verbal communication skills
4. Good analytical skills

Salary:

$45,000 - $50,000
