Senior Accountant/Financial Analyst – SEC Company

Description:

This is an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of areas including management and SEC reporting relating to investments, financial analysis, investor relations, MD&A and more! Ideal candidate is someone from a Big 4 or Regional firms with 3-5 years of experience.

Responsibilities:

1. Preparation and analysis of monthly and quarterly management reporting, including presentations for the Board of Directors, Management Reporting meetings, and Earnings Call preparation
2. Preparation and analysis of investment sections of our 10Q’s, 10K’s Investor Financial Supplement
3. Develop, support and maintain information delivery related to invested asset portfolio trends, income impacts of trading decisions. Assist in creation of board presentations and quarterly Earnings Call meetings prep
4. Work closely with the Corporate Investor Relations team, to identify potential areas of interest to equity analysts that participate in the Q&A portion of the earnings call. The compilation of the earnings call preparation binder involves significant interaction with both senior portfolio management and asset sector heads and provides a macro view of invested asset portfolio

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, 3-5 years of experience in a Big 4 or large regional firm, CPA a plus
2. Proven track record of taking initiative to research and resolve issues
3. Well developed analytical, communication, and documentation skills
4. Knowledge of capital markets or a desire to learn in a rapidly changing environment

Salary:

$70,000 - $90,000 + Bonus
