Senior Financial Reporting Analyst

Description:

Assists in the preparation and analysis of the Company’s financial statements, including closing the books and preparation of financial statements. Actively participates in the review and analysis of key financial reporting documents. Recommends and implements changes to the Company’s accounting processes and procedures. Able to independently research and document accounting issues and see them through to resolution.

Responsibilities:

1. • Assists in quarterly and annual GAAP and STAT financial reporting and analysis for multiple consolidated filings, including involvement in the preparation of SEC requirements
2. • Prepares and reviews financial statement disclosures, including preparation and analysis of cash flow statements as well as preparation of flux analysis for multiple businesses
3. • Independently researches and documents accounting issues and see them through to resolution
4. • Prepares account reconciliations and certifies to the accuracy and completeness of financial statements to management
5. • Assists in managing the quarterly close process, including preparation of the close calendar and monitoring status
6. • Collaborates with others in the organization providing support as needed, including assisting in the completion of special projects

Requirements:

1. • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, CPA/MBA a plus
2. • 3-6 years of accounting experience with strong knowledge of financial reporting, including SEC reporting requirements
3. • Strong excel and analytical skills
4. • Excellent judgment, tact, and interpersonal skills

Salary:

$85,000 - $100,000 + Bonus
