Human Resources/Business Manager

Description:

Our client, a professional services firm, is looking for a candidate with strong business judgement, leadership qualities and solid decision-making skills to join their team. HR and team management experience is required.


Responsibilities:

  1. 1) Manage PTO calendar and requests including tracking and reconciliation; assist with health insurance and HSA enrollments
  2. 2) Department of Labor filings and responses; verbal and written employment verifications for staff
  3. 3) Ensure compliance with internal policies as well as federal and local laws and regulations; field employee relation issues and practice conflict resolution
  4. 4) Involvement in recruiting; responsible for new hire documentation completion and internal file maintenance.
  5. 5) Supervise, lead, and recruit administrative staff; special project management
  6. 6) Provide feedback and perform yearly evaluations; train new administrative staff and oversight of seasonal administrative staff during tax season
  7. 7) Oversee payment platforms such as in-office, Stripe and ACH. Yearly certification for PCI compliance
  8. 8) Social media management including for posting on firm events along with individual and business articles. Assist with maintenance of our firm website.
  9. 9) Plan firm events such as holiday parties, volunteering events, summer and post-tax season gatherings.
  10. 10) Improve firm efficiencies; continuous review of new technologies, operations and possible cost improvements

Requirements:

  1. 1) 5+ years of Human resources experience
  2. 2) 2+ years of supervisory experience
  3. 3) Team player, positive attitude
  4. 4) Willing to work half day Saturdays during tax season, then 37 hour weeks the rest of the year

Salary:

$75,000- $90.,000
