Manager – Accounting Policies, Controls & Acquisitions

Description:

You will provide accounting and controls support for the Company's Manufacturing Operations Accounting organization. The position represents a rare opportunity to utilize your expertise and work daily with contacts throughout the organization at all levels of management. You'll develop a broad and deep understanding of the Company’s business and operations that am essential for strong career development.

Responsibilities:

1. • Assisting with the completion of Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) requirements including performing the annual controls risk assessment, GAP / annual controls assessment and SOX testing
2. • Managing the timely closure of control issue tickets
3. • Tracking control issues and their status across manufacturing operations as well as aiding in the preparation of monthly updates presented to Manufacturing Operations executive management
4. • Supporting domestic and international subsidiaries to apply Company policies and procedures
5. • Supporting the Manufacturing Operations organization on technical accounting issues
6. • Expediting the Manufacturing Accounting financial reporting close process
7. • Providing support for business acquisitions within the Manufacturing Organization including financial reporting and integration activities

Requirements:

1. • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance and at least 5 years' accounting experience
2. • CPA or MBA
3. • Thorough knowledge of US GAAP and practical experience in the application of accounting concepts
4. • Manufacturing accounting or audit experience
5. • Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical and problem solving skills
6. • Experience with internal controls and Sarbanes Oxley requirements
7. • Excellent written and oral interpersonal skills; ability to clearly and concisely document and effectively communicate accounting issues to both Finance and Non-Finance personnel
8. • Willing to travel up to 25%

Salary:

$95,000 - $115,000
