Controller

Description:

Our client is a well established specialty contractor. They are seeking a Controller that will report directly to the CFO. The Controller will be groomed to take over as CFO in the future. Besides salary, the Company offers annual bonus potential, 401(k), Profit Sharing and excellent other benefits and a great work/life balance.

Responsibilities:

1. 1) Monthly AIA Billing
2. 2) Weekly payroll input/processing
3. 3) Administration of payroll, benefits, medical insurance
4. 4) Obtaining lien waivers from suppliers
5. 5) Quarterly payroll tax filings
6. 6 Assist with monthly financial close process and related financial analysis

Requirements:

1. 1) Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
2. 2) Construction billing/percentage of completion experience (auditing in public accounting or in industry)
3. 3) 4+ years of experience (public accounting or private industry)
4. 4) CPA is a plus, but not required
5. 5) Experience with HR, benefits, workers compensation insurance a plus
6. 6) Team player, self-motivated, desire to progress to CFO in the future

Salary:

$75,000 - $90,000 + Bonus and Excellent Benefits
