Controller

Description:

The Controller provides financial key metrics that drive decisions, financial forecasts, and business plans. The role has primary day-to-day responsibility for planning, implementing, managing and controlling all financial related activities. The Controller drives financial performance through high quality decision support and FP&A, including overall P&L, sales and margin management, and close control over working capital.

Responsibilities:

1. • Deliver site results by contributing financial and accounting insight, analysis, and recommendations.
2. • Implement strategies by evaluating trends; implementing critical measurements; designing systems; accumulating resources; resolving problems; implementing change.
3. • Develop the organization by identifying opportunities for improvement, cost reduction, and systems enhancement.
4. • Develop financial strategies by forecasting cash and resource requirements; identifying monetary resources; developing and implementing action plans.
5. • Monitor financial performance by measuring and analyzing results; initiating corrective actions; minimizing the impact of variances.
6. • Report financial status by developing forecasts; reporting results; analyzing variances; developing improvements.
7. • Implement and manage metrics and measurements to successfully manage, control and profitably grow the business.
8. • Identify, assess and communicate risks and exposures and developing measures to effectively mitigate these on a timely basis.

Requirements:

1. • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required.
2. • 7+ years of accounting and/or finance experience, including experience in a manufacturing environment, required.
3. • 3+ years of management and/or leadership experience required.
4. • Excels in managing finance, accounting, budgeting, control, pricing, business analytics and reporting.
5. • Strong knowledge of SAP ERP system preferred

Salary:

$130,000 - $150,000 + 20% Bonus Potential
