Internal Audit Senior – REMOTE with occasional travel

Our client is a well respected Fortune 500 manufacturing company. 100% work from home with occasional travel to Connecticut (1-2 times per quarter). This is a great work/life balance opportunity, no overtime.

The Internal Audit department is an excellent place to start your career in industry after public accounting. The Company offers:

As an audit professional, you will further expand on your understanding of the auditing and accounting. As an audit senior, you will interact with senior financial and operating management. While offering the opportunity to learn about the operations. Internal auditing offers you the opportunity to expand on your financial and analytical skills while gaining a better understanding of the operations as a consultant on business risks and controls.

Responsibilities:

1. • Accountable for audits/projects including scoping and planning the review
2. • Effectively supervise, evaluate and guide staff
3. • Delegate assignments appropriately to audit staff
4. • Review automated work papers and provide clear feedback
5. • Prepare reports that are clear and concise
6. • Demonstrate leadership through coaching/mentoring other team members and fostering a spirit of continual improvement

Requirements:

1. • Bachelor Degree required
2. • 2 – 5 years experience in Audit; either public accounting or internal audit
3. • Experience understanding risk/control environments
4. • Strong critical thinking, communication and analysis skills required

Salary:

$100,000 - $110,000 + Bonus
