Manager – Financial Reporting

Description:

Our client, a Fortune 500 company with international operations, is seeking a Manager of Financial Reporting to join their team. This is a great opportunity for a Big 4 or Regional firm professional with 4-5 years of experience, looking to make the transition to private industry.

Responsibilities:

1. (1) Partner with the strategic business units, the FP&A organization as well as Corporate Headquarters as part of the overall financial statement review and reporting processes
2. (2) Consolidate and analyze quarterly variances analysis from strategic business units including identification, research and resolution of variances / unreconciled items
3. (3) Support various Company financial presentations and deliverables
4. (4) Perform testing of key controls related to financial reporting and consolidations
5. (5) Develop key policies and procedures as well as ensuring consistency and accuracy with corporate requirements
6. (6) Support 10Q and 10K related disclosures for corporate filing, including revenue recognition dual reporting requirements
7. (7) Participate on ongoing transformation projects to enhance existing processes
8. (8) Support new initiatives and projects as needed

Requirements:

1. • Bachelor’s degree required, B.S. in Accounting preferred, Master’s degree and/or CPA is a plus, but not required.
2. • Minimum 4 to 7 plus years of related accounting experience
3. • Strong technical knowledge of US GAAP
4. • Familiarity of balance sheet and P&L analytics
5. • Excellent communication (written and oral) and analytical skills
6. • Firm understanding of accounting systems and controls
7. • Strong process documentation skills

Salary:

$90,000 - $110,000
