Private Equity Senior Analyst

Description:

Our private equity client is looking for a Senior Analyst to become a part of the firm’s investment and portfolio management teams. Candidates will be offered the opportunity to join a hands-on, collaborative working environment with experienced investment professionals as they evaluate private debt and private equity investments across a variety of businesses and industries. The successful candidate will demonstrate curiosity, attention to detail, business acumen, analytical abilities, strong writing skills and cultural fit.

Responsibilities:

1. - Process and review incoming investment memos and business plans
2. - Perform financial modeling, deal structuring, and valuation assessments
3. - Develop plans and participate in due diligence to complete in-depth analysis of potential investment opportunities, including primary and secondary research (financial, industry trends, competition, business analysis)
4. - Write and present deal introductions and investment committee memos
5. - Research market trends and competitive environments as part of exit opportunity analysis
6. - Support fund-level analysis and reporting
7. - Significant writing activities to complete follow-on investment and amendment memos
8. - Additional content creation for individual portfolio companies including quarterly valuations and PowerPoint slides for semi-annual Limited Partner meetings

Requirements:

1. • 1-3 years of transaction-related experience preferred
2. • Completion of a Bachelor’s degree with strong academic performance
3. • Strong analytical skills including ability to develop financial models; proficiency in Excel
4. • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills with the ability to manage deadlines and prioritize workload
5. • Excellent writing skills, with ability to coalesce complex ideas and to present them clearly and concisely

Salary:

$100,000 - $120,000 + 20-40% Bonus Potential
