Senior Accountant

Description:

The Senior Accountant position is with our Fortune 100 client company. Many long term advancement opportunities will be available for the successful candidate.

Responsibilities:

1. • Monthly journal entries, closing activities and account reconciliations related to various Corporate and Subsidiary accounts, including but not limited to Commissions and Royalties, Cash and clearing accounts, Intercompany Loan Accounting, Leases, Departmental allocations including inter-company charge backs and miscellaneous entries supporting the business units
2. • Month end reporting including miscellaneous deliverables to support disclosures for 10-Q/10-K
3. • Participate in process improvement activities related to all accounting functions as required, i.e. journal entry automation, support finance transformation, and other automation efforts
4. • Support Corporate and Subsidiaries regarding any questions or ad hoc requests as required

Requirements:

1. • Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting required
2. • Minimum 2 years of experience in Accounting or Finance field
3. • Familiarity with US GAAP
4. • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, specifically Excel
5. • Experience in SAP and/or HFM is a plus
6. • Excellent teambuilding and interpersonal skills

Salary:

$60,000 - $75,000
