Senior Financial Analyst

Description:

Working closely with the CFO, the Senior Financial Analyst will assist with financial analysis, budgeting and special financial projects.

Responsibilities:

1. • Monitor, analyze, and report on financial performance
2. • Develop, maintain, enhance, and update the Company’s budget and forecast
3. • Assist in improving the annual budgeting process
4. • Performs ad hoc analysis as needed to understand business performance and develops reporting tools to effectively and efficiently communicate results
5. • Develops materials for Executive and/or Department meetings and provides analytical support to management in preparation for those meetings and other key activities
6. • This role will start with the enhancing the department use of newly implemented budgeting software program
7. • Identify potential improvements to processes and procedures, as well as making them more effective and efficient

Requirements:

1. • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
2. • 2+ years of related, progressive experience in financial planning, with a high degree of exposure to income statement, balance sheet and cash flow statements
3. • Quick learner and problem solver when faced with new issues or challenges
4. • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
5. • Excellent time management skills and detail oriented with the ability to juggle multiple priorities
6. • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills

Salary:

$80,000 - $105,000 (depending on experience)
