Senior Analyst

Description:

The Senior Analyst leverages high-level analytical skills, attention to detail and accuracy, coupled with the ability to multi-task and work independently, to ensure accurate and timely maintenance of financial records in accordance with all related Company policies, standard procedures and generally accepted accounting principles.

Responsibilities:

1. 1) Perform daily and monthly reconciliations as assigned
2. 2) Prepare special financial reports and analyses for senior management as assigned
3. 3) Assist with the maintenance, reporting and oversight of the Company's general ledger and general ledger reconciliation software
4. 4) Assist in preparation of materials as part of the annual external audits and SOX testing
5. 5) Identify areas in the organization with process improvement opportunities

Requirements:

1. 1) Bachelors degree (Accounting or Finance) and a minimum of 3 years of accounting or finance experience is required; financial services industry experience preferred
2. 2) Must demonstrate attention to detail in a fast-paced work environment and the ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously to achieve results
3. 3) Must be able to communicate effectively with colleagues and others across the organization
4. 4) Advanced knowledge of Excel and Microsoft Word is preferred

Salary:

$75,000 - $100,000 + Bonus

West of Hartford, CT - Hybrid Schedule
