Senior Associate, Financial Planning & Analysis

Description:

The Senior Associate, Financial Planning & Analysis will be responsible for developing and maintaining critical financial analyses to support the senior management team, corporate functions and affiliated investment managers. The position will report to the Director of Financial Planning & Analysis.

Responsibilities:

1. 1) Develop and manage the corporate forecasting model, which is a rolling quarterly forecast model of Assets Under Management, profitability, key financial metrics and cash flow/balance sheet estimates
2. 2) Complete financial analysis of the capital management and balance sheet activities of the Company in support of the annual financial plan
3. 3) Create various decision support models related to earnings sensitivities, fund profitability analysis, pro-forma credit ratings, and distribution compensation plans
4. 4) Support the quarterly earnings release and earnings call by preparing detailed analyses on financial results and assisting in the preparation of related materials
5. 5) Preparing competitive analyses for management and Board of Directors
6. 6) Special projects as assigned

Requirements:

1. • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance. CPA, MBA, or CFA a plus
2. • Three to six years of experience in financial analysis; prior experience in the investment or asset management industry preferred
3. • Solid Excel skills
4. • Strong financial modeling experience; demonstrated financial and mathematical skills, including the application of those skills in asset valuation
5. • Ability to work independently and complete responsibilities with little supervision; yet work well in a team-oriented culture
6. • Ability to resolve complex finance and accounting issues
7. • Ability to effectively present and communicate ideas in both oral and written form; high level of energy and enthusiasm; excellent interpersonal skills and executive presence

Salary:

$75,000 - $85,000 + Bonus
