Senior Financial Analyst – REMOTE POSITION

Description:

Our Fortune 500 client is looking for an energetic, process-oriented team member who will support the Controllership & Finance function. This position will interface with Field Operations, General Accounting, Global Shared Services, and other functions within Controllership and Finance. This is a fully remote position.

Responsibilities:

1. • Review, analyze, and submit capitalization requests from the branches
2. • Complete required periodic fixed asset review for existence and idle asset review
3. • Take lead in performing business process (both commercial & operational) and balance sheet reviews during scheduled branch field visits
4. • Partner with business process owners on key strategic process and control improvement and/or risk mitigation initiatives identified through branch field visits, internal and external audit findings, etc.
5. • Take lead role on various ad hoc productivity projects involving partnerships with Business Unit Finance & Operations
6. • Partner with IT and Operations on systems implementations and other projects as needed
7. • Partner with Operations to execute annual inventory counts remotely and on-site
8. • Assist in the transition of fixed assets, inventory, and AP for newly acquired businesses

Requirements:

1. • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting
2. • 2-3 years of experience in Finance or Accounting
3. • SAP and HFM experience preferred; Advanced Excel skills required
4. • Excellent problem solving/troubleshooting skills
5. • Must be able to communicate clearly to business partners who may not have a Finance or Accounting background

Salary:

$85,000 - $95,000
